My teaching is designed with the knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and a comprehensive understanding of injured populations. I have focused on conditions including: osteoporosis, joint replacements, disc herniations, facet syndromes, bursitis, tendonitis, stenosis, spinal fusions, labral tears, diastasis recti, hyper-mobility, and pre/post natal. I was originally drawn to research and study Pilates following a severe injury, where I first encountered the practice of Pilates for rehabilitation.
The connection of a personalized Pilates experience helps with understanding individualized growth and progress through focusing on the integration of movement into daily lifestyle. Through the strong use of imagery, breath and prop variations Pilates can be enhance the body’s potential.
I currently teach at Performance Physical Therapy & Wellness, New Leaf Physical Therapy, and CP Burn. I also partner with the C3 Method to bring Pilates and wellness to professional environments within the New York area.
